Superbowl LIV

A Timeless American Tradition

The year’s biggest football game is right around the corner, and while we can’t wait to watch Miami host this year’s festivities, we know that the best viewing comes complete with good food, good drinks, and great friends. No matter where you are, pull up a seat to the big game and get ready to partake in an epic American pastime. Even if you’re not a fan of the sport, the half-time show, highly anticipated commercials, and celebratory atmosphere makes a football lover out of all of us- if only for a day. In honor of the 54th showdown, here’s this year’s rundown on Super LIV.

The Teams and Predictions

On February 2nd, Miami is set for face-off between the Kansas City Chief (their first Super Bowl in 50 years) and the San Francisco 49ers, marking the first time the two teams have ever faced off in a Super Bowl. Making the match even more exciting is the fact that there’s no clear favorite or decided underdog going into the game. Kansas City has a highly-renowned offense, while the 49ers defense is every coach’s dream, making predictions fairly split as we approach the game.

The Entertainment

The entertainment at the Super Bowl is always top notch, and this year is no exception, with Latin sensations Jennifer Lopez and Shakira headlining The Pepsi Super Bowl LIV Halftime Show. Though there’s no confirmation, there’s also been speculation of surprise appearances from Pitbull, Beyonce, and a host music’s biggest stars. Kicking off the action with the national anthem during the pre-game festivities will be pop diva Demi Lovato.
